Seminar-training in Slonim during Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

The activities in frames of the project “For life” have been held in Slonim for the second year. This year, among other meetings during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the seminar-training for young girls and women, should be mentioned separately.  The meeting was attended by the graduate students of school #2, Slonim college of medicine, teachers from town and district schools.

We invited Tatiana Antonova, a trainer from Baranovichy to take part in the training. Her topic was “Consequaences of abortions” was interesting for all women, but especially for girls, who were less serious about this problem before they’ve seen the documentary and talked to a doctor.  During the training the trainer Oxana Borisevich was assited by the experienced volunteer Natallia Altynova, who later in December also became a trainer in our project. During the course of the meeting girls worked actively in groups and elaborated booklets for information work on the problem. During the coffee-breaks girls shared their opinions and asked quaetions to the trainers.
